    Power problems

    Hi!

I'm a happy user of a m10000. I get it powered via m2-atx, and i also have a amplifier in my trunk. And i have a problem, when i make music louder my LCD screen starts blinking. It seems it has to little power.

So what is the solution? Another battery in the trunk or what?

can you be as specific as possible?

    a wiring diagram maybe?

what amplifier? (name and model please, not claimed wattage)

    It is wired like this:

+ line from battery to the m2-atx
    - line to the same ground as the amp ground
+ line to the amp from the same battery
    acc line to the m2atx
LCD monitor has the radio + line (in-dash instead of the radio)
and the ground line from the radio also

Everything is properly wired, as i revired everything because of the noise that was present. It all works perfectly, just that the LCD starts blinking when i listen to music loud

The amplifier is from Blaupunkt model GTA 250 two channel amp

ok - I was thinking maybe that amplifier was causing the problems, but at 100 x 2, I would HIGHLY doubt it...

sounds like you're having current draw issues.

are all of your grounds 100% secure? bare metal to bare metal, no paint. No frayed wires, none of that?

does it do it with the motor running v. not running?

It happens with the motor off and running.

The grounds are 100% secure...so are the wires...

Isn't it possible to be the lack of Power or smthn.? Maybe the batteries are to weak and i need another?

    I highly doubt that.

a computer really doesn't pull that much, and you're amp is really small. If the stock Hyundai alternator can't keep up with this little but of additional demand...I would think there was another issue.

How old is your battery? What size is it?

Where is your carputer physically in relation to the amp and the sub? How did you run the power cables, and the computer monitor VGA cable?

I think its about 2 yrs old not more.

My carputer is right next to my amp (amp is for my speakers not for a sub)
The power cables go through the left side of the car and my RCA cable ges through the right side of the car. No ground cable is longer then half a meter and is 100% secure.
