have you checked in properties what it's set to do when the power button is pressed? I know this may be way to obvious, but ????
I've got this weird problem with the DSATX. The computer will startup when the ACC line goes live, but it refuses to shutdown normally. What ends up happening is the DSATX just ends up pulling the plug.
I must have the power connectors connected properly, as it starts the computer up.
Any other hints as to the problem?

I put that on hibernate.
But even if I didn't, it should do something.
[Edit]: I checked the options, and yeh, i guess there's an option to do nothing. But I'm sure that I did not select that.
sure sure???

Too hard. I'd have to remove the plexiglass from the computer to do that.Originally Posted by turbocad6
you have to isolate the problem... either the button press is happening from the controller or it's not.... the best way to tell is to simulate the action... if it hibernates it means your not getting the pulse... if it still does nothing then it is probable that the controller is doing it's job... & you have to look elseware at the pc itself

I wish it was that easy. I tested the whole unit inside my house, but obviously without the DSATX. That's why I said I was almost certain that I changed it do hibernation. It shouldn't be the cable, as it transmits the startup pulse just fine.Originally Posted by turbocad6
