    Well, since the cigarette lighter outputs 12v, it's a good thing that you don't want to use that.
    You need something that will output 7.5v.... Like this: http://www.mp3car.com/store/product_...roducts_id=138
    Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

    Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

    do you know of a supplier in the UK for this PCB because if i brought this off your shop i would pay more in postage fees than the actual item is worth!

    I have the same problem for my BT GPS

    Easiest solution but probably abit messy for you. If you can find a cig adapter that can supply 7.5V@2.5A you can then get a cig socket from maplin. >>>

    http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?...=1055&doy=24m6

    Plug the adapter in that socket, solder 2 wires and connect them directly to +12V supply. Just hide the rest under the dashboard.

    If you want it abit neater you can remove the PCB out of that cig adapter and put it in a box if you wish. Then just solder everything directly for reliabilty.

    I have been browsing around ebay and have found this item;

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

    The Cigerret Plug is on a cable rarther than it all being moudled into one so i will cut the plug off and go straight into my ISO block!

    Thanks

    Tom
