LCD and AMP remote on with M2-ATX

Can I use the same J6 connection on M2-ATX to send a remote turn on signal to both touchscreen LCD and the AMP at the same time?

Probably... As long as your connecting to the "remote" wire of the amp.

I'd run that remote signal through a relay, and then use the relay to power the amp and LCD remote lines, if I were you.

The M2 seems to be fairly sensitive to excess current draw in general (look in the power supply forum for stories about M2 failures, and you'll see what I mean). If you don't know the current draw of the remote lines for your LCD and amp, then you run the risk of drawing too much current from the M2's remote output, and frying the M2.

It'll probably work just fine...but better safe than sorry, from my experience!

Good point, and it definitely wouldn't hurt it either. Better safe than sorry. Burned up components suck...

Relay? A button or... what are the specs?
