I have a prob...
i have a wireless mouse tht is rechargeable only through USB.....
the prob is that when i shut down the PC...... the charger shuts off too....
is there any way by which i may be able to keep the charger on.. even when the computer is powered off!
Help please..... desperate....
Which poswersupply are you using?

I use suspend to RAM mode. In addition to quicker startup and shutdown, it keeps the USB power on. At first I thought that was highly undesirable. That means I am always powering USB accessories. Then I realized my GPS (BU-353) keeps its fix when I am parked outside. The other devices wasting power while the PC is in standby are a Bluetooth dongle and the minikey keyboard. No big deal.
So the STR mode is another option you or others may consider.

How come on my computer(m10000 and m2atx) my gps light stays on wouldnt that mean power is still flowing? samething with my wifi usb adaptor all night the blue light stays on(well not all night only for 2 hours then a hard off happens)?
The m1000 does not cut power to your usb ports, which is normal for a lot of motherboards.
