    M1-ATX not powering mb

My M1-ATX is not sending a pulse to my motherboard to power it up. It was working but then my hard drive die now it wont send a pulse. I have to install a switch onto my motherboard to power it up anyway to fix this.

    What MB are you using?

What do you mean your HD died?
Are you sure the drive failed and not the MB? (or other part)

I am using the mII12000 Yes i am sure the drive fail. I been a computer tech for 12 years. I can power my mb fine if i use a switch or jump it but the M1-Atx will not send a pulse to it to turn it on. It has to be manually done.

I install a new 80g 2.5 hard drive also and install windows. work great when jumpstart but will not do its other function like turn it off after 2 hours and so. No pulse getting sent.

That information was not included and changes the potential answers. Good to know you have the right information and know what it means.

Send an email to the folks that made the PS. Describe the issue, see what they say.
