well, it's been awhile, i apologize, but here's the update from overseas.

the manafacturing contact i spoke with does volume in the hundreds of thousands to millions of pieces. that's out of the questions. he told me the idea is good, however, there is a pending copyright on a version they have over there. it's 1/4 the size of what i have and it does 30Volts x 50Amps = 150 watt power supply. kinda like the size of a matchbook. my friend has a sample and i'll get to check it out shortly. but it's not on the martket yet and it's pending, so it might or might not arrive, who knows... maybe i'll import some

anyway, this is just some closure for those who kept track of this thread for so long... thanks. but it doesn't look viable for me to get this thing manafactured. he also mentioned that the market isn't big enough and competition is a non-factor.

In that case maybe you could do a favor to this community and publish your work. That would be very nice. Although connecting those ISR seems to be easy, I am very sure we can learn from your design.

In the meantime you can get an MPBS1 from me. I am getting mine professionally manufactured and I dropped the price 10 bucks.

Don't get him to publish his work, he'll just spend 3 months telling us its going to get published in a book somewhere only to find out that the book doesn't exist.

Trust me, the data sheets on the TI website give you more than enough information to make a start, it's easy...

PS. look! another deadbeat! except this one had photos?!?
