    Cool inverter wireing fuse

i been looking for wirering diagram for inverte and i can not find any.
Know the conection of an inverter is simple just straght to the battery. but I saw a diagram of a DC to DC power supply here, that have a fuse betwen the battery red cable and the power supply.
my question do i need to put in fuse betwen the battery and inverter?????
or this is only use for DC to Dc power supply???

Anything that runs to your battery should be fused as close to the battery as possible.
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?
