    Post Regulated 12 Volts from junk parts

    For what it's worth, I'm still experimenting, but it seems to be working so far. The transformer needs to be the sheilded type to prevent noise. See schematic at:

    Thats gunna generate alot of heat... dropping 24volts down to 12, even at only 2amps is going to get nice and warm...
