problem with power opus power supply in the car

when I power on the cpu in the car, it starts to turn on then shut off. The green light on the opus 150 power supply blinks three time in a row. which tells me theres a problem with the voltage or power supply. Well I know it not the power supply, because I hooked the cpu on the desktop in my house, using dc-power 15amp power supply, and it worked normal. started up fine. In the car its a differant story, which has to be the voltage is out of range. how would I be able to correct this?

Have you checked the voltage your supplying the opus with? If not get a meter and test it.
Where are you currently running the supplies from and in what size cables?
Make sure you have a good ground.

I found the problem with my carcpu. it was a bad ground. thanks for your help.
