Ok so I need this usb->dc/plug cable, anyone?

the attached file is a usb->dc plug that came with my pcmcia cardbus adapter. The cable powers my usb hub and it fits to all my other external usb hubs that can be powered but works unpowered. So when I install my laptop in my car I hear the system needs to have enough power to make my system stabile. So.. some say that the hubs need a 5v lead to the battery/powersupply/carnetix or whatever...
I gues I have to cut this cable and replace the usb-plug with a molex or similair to match my powersupply. I cannot power all my hubs from the laptops built in usb-ports because I am continuously getting error message at reboot saying "critical low battery-error" even if the ac/power from the wall is connected in my home. So I gues at startup all my devices nees to start themself at the same time causing a massive power need. If I remove some devices this doesnt occur.
The problem is I have crawled all over the net, froogle, google, ebay, altavista to search for this cable alone. It cannot be found anywhere. I dont want to by more pcmcia cards just to get hold of the cable... anyone that knows maybe another way to power my hubs with external power besides the one from the incomming usb-from-computer cable itself?

why not just make your own cable

i know you can buy the little plug ends, and everyone can buy usb cables, so just cut the usb cable, find whichever wire is + and -, then find if the plug end is tip-negative, or tip-positive

    then wire it up?

cheap enough solution if you ask me

and how else ot power it? you said it yourself "So.. some say that the hubs need a 5v lead to the battery/powersupply/carnetix or whatever... "

how else would you power it? take the 5v off the molex from the psu?

Yes that would be the best solution and cheapest, but anyway I dont know what that kind of plug is named, My power plug to my laptop looks the same but is bigger, I dont have any power supply in my home that has that small plug I want
