    M1-ATX Problems

    Hey all,

I've recently been playing with an M1-ATX [Although it is now over 1 year old] on a VIA M1000N board.

I know the system is fine because if I put the M1 into "Dumb" mode then all is well. Although when I add the jumper to acivate the timings for the startup and shutdown etc... The system won't even power on !!!! This is including manual switch power on and via ignition. I've almost lost all my hair messing around with this problem... Please help !!!!!

    Thanks

Do you have a 2 conductor wire going from the M1 to the Motherboard switch header? The switch header are the pins that the "regular" power switch would connect to on your motherboard.

    Thanks for the reply....

Yes I have got that cable connected. As I mentioned it powers and works fine in "Dumb mode" its only when I use the Offdelay / Hardoff option that it doesn't work.

    Thanks
