I read the faq about the vw monsoon, and wiring it to be able to input audio from the carputer... great faq, and the circuit I built from it, works wonderful.

My problem is that when I completely disconnect the power source to the 5v regulator in my circuit, the amp remains on... (and the music can continue to play if I have audio going through). The faq says make sure to switch the 5v regulator power (12+) off, and not the ground - or the amp will remain on... i am disconnecting the whole powersupply into the circuit, and the amp stays on. The only way to cut the power, is to disconnect the green harness going into the amp.

not sure if that makes sense, basically... I'm injecting the 12V into my circuit to convert it into 5v for the amp turn on - and immediaitely removing the 12V, and the music continues to play.

anyone have insights?
