    m2-atx p4 connector same as molex?

    I'm hooking up my abit bg7 board to my m2-atx. The MB requires the 4 pin 12 volt connector. My questions is...is it the same if i use a molex->4pin or a 4pin->4pin? With the 4pin to 4pin, I would be using the 4 pin connection on the m2-atx while if I use the molex version I'd be tapping into the regular atx power connector. (20pin?) Thanks!

    Dn't tap a molex. The 4-pin connector has two 12v lines and two ground lines.
    A HDD molex has two grounds, a 12v line and a 5v line.
    Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

    I was thinking the m2-atx had one 12 volt rail but i guess not. Thanks!

    There are only a few PSUs that actually have two 12v rails, and they are high-power high-end PSUs for gaming PCs or high-end workstations.
