I would like a quick connection method so I can unplug my pc and take it inside. I have searched some and found spade connectors mentioned, but I am not a great fan of them. I would rather some sort of plug that is more secure. The back of a subwoofer for a set of computer speakers I have has a screw on plug that has 3 pins. Something like that would be perfect.
The only thing I found anywhere near that at RS is A CB plug It has 4 pins which is fine, but I don't know if it is safe to pull that much power thru it. (I have a mobile sempron in a nforce4 s754 microatx).

Well for now I just used a molex connector that I soldered together for the plug. It isn't pretty and hangs out flopping around, but it will get the job done until I change it later.
I used a neutrik speakon connector for many years. Has up to 4 poles and can handle the current with no problem.

BTW thank you I ordered such a connector and I should have it installed next week.
This my setup using the "CB" connectors. Works great for removing and installing.
