I've got a setup in my trunk that has a total draw a little bit under 120 Watts. I'm unfortunately going to have to run power back there, probably direct from my battery terminals. What gauge wire would allow me to have at least 12 volts run all the way back there? The distance is about 20 feet when we take into account all the bends and curves. Also, I'll be running a VGA and 3.5 Audio jack this same distance...will I need any amplifiers for these signals?
Yes, that really IS my car, sad, though it may be, I'm putting a computer in it.
...I love the French language...especially to curse with...Nom de Dieu de putain de bordel de merde de saloperies de connards d'enculés de ta mère. You see, it's like wiping your *** with silk, I love it.
Since he just wanted to tell you to read the FAQ, I'll dig it up for you and try to be helpful:
Here is how to connect your CarPC Power
You'll want to use 4-8 gauge wire for the Car PC so you don't burn out the wire. Hope this helps
