    How do I connect my carnetix to my aopen mini pc?

    Hi I was wondering how I connect my aopen power adapter to my carnetix.

    Carnetix Block Diagram


    PC Power Supply


    Where should I cut it?

    Splice the power and ground from teh Carnetix into the barrel conenctor that plugs into the AOpen unit. You'll need to determine which wire is +19v and which one is ground.
    Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

    Would I cut it before or after the ball like thingy before the barrel connector?

    Carnetix has an adapter cable for this exact purpose, the AOpac...the mp3car store just doesn't carry it that I can find.

    That thingy is a ferrite choke. It is wrapped around the power cord to reduce electromagnetic interference.
