    Ignition wire

I am installing my carnetix, and I am a little confused about the ignition wire. Is it suppose to connect to the ignition wire or the acc wire? If so which ignition wire? Is there different wires that run into different parts of the car to turn other things like the radio on that I can tap into? Or do I have to run a wire from the steering column to the ignition wire on my carnetix?

When the car is on is it still considered accessory?

Do you know what I should do about the Dlyon?

Do I just need a switched 12v source like the cig lighter or the one that powers my headunit?

the diference btween ign & accessory ... BOTH have power at run time.... an ign lead will mantain power while cranking, but loose power in acc.. an accessory wire will disconect while cranking, but obviously maintain power in accessory...

the momentary drop while cranking of an acc lead wont be a problem with the carnetix.....

When you say momentary drop, do you mean it wont damage my carnetix and my comp wont shut off because of the hiccup in power, or it wont damage my carnetix and it will shut off my computer?

    Thanks again, new avatar?

Sorry I got this post mixed up with another one. I was wondering about the Dlyon wire also. I won't be using an amp or a mac. Would I still need this cable? I looked around and heard that people use this cable to power on their devices after a certain amount of time. I was wondering how that works, does it replace the positive cable that goes into those devices or.....?
