Experts needed. take a look if you can help

hello , how are you doing .

you seems to be a person with alot of experience with installing your car pcs and i would like to know if you could help me with mine.

i know we can pm each other back and forth to dealth but i am looking to get this install done rather effiently and quickly with as little set backs as possible.

    - my car is a bmw e46 323i

    - 1.)standard cd player
    2.)after market amp/12inch sub,
3.)last a rca output converter tapped in the system for 2 aux inputs in it ,

amp power(tap in from the white wire coming out of the amp,for power) It is the turn on wire for my car.
I would like to put the laptop i am going to use in the trunk mount against my back seat.

The way I want my setup to go :

, is I want to keep it as simple as possible. how can I keep everything that is in my car running as such, but add the screen and the laptop running the screen work as if I turn the car up in the morning and power is supplied to the laptop turning it on. then when I shut the car off the laptop goes into hibernation, this way I do not have to wait for it too turn compley on all the time.

Do I need a trickle to keep the computer in hibernation or no?

    what I need to know:

1.) what wires will i use and devices if needed to power a 7 inch touchscreen monitor I chose?

2.) i am going to tap into the stero simply buy the laptops headphone jack with rca cables running to my existing aux input coverter. Do i need to do anything else with this?

3.) i will run the wires USB+serial cable to the back of the laptop location in the truck. How am I doing so far?
Now at this point. how do I power the laptop up and run this badboy with some software, which i will find out about after the install is complete.

best products and model names and numbeer are preferred. I know you are helping me out on your own time , so ANY information will be greatfully appricated. thank you sooooo much in advance.

    Have a great day

You do realize that you're addressing a large group of hobbyists, not a single individual....

    No.

That all depends on the make and model of screen. There is no simple answer. Some screens require regulated power. Others do not.

    No.

There are lots of power options. The simplest is a car adapter for your make/model of laptop. There are also "universal" car adapters out there, as another alternative.

This is where you do your own research and legwork.
Considering you didn't tell us the make/model of laptop, you don'ty know what screen you intend to use, etc... It's impossible for us to make recommendations, although some will certainly try.

The information you're looking for is all here on these forums. All you need to do is seek it out and do the reading.

Good luck and welcome to our madness.
