    12v Switched Power

I need help from the mighty electronics Gurus.

I need to build a switch that will supply a constant 12v to multiple sources when it receives a 12v 'on' signal and turn off power when the 'on' signal goes away.

I thought about using an automotive StartUp/ShutDown controller, but the circuit is more complicated than I need. This is not to power a pc, but rather other accessories in my car.

Any help is appreciated, if any more info is need I will provide it

Please forgive my 'noobness' and elaborate on what relay would serve my purpose.

You can use a spst or spdt relay for this. Any bog-standard ordinary automotive relay (they are usually spdt) will do exactly what you describe.

Not necessarily noobiness, but certainly a little on the lazy side. A search of this forum, and the net, would reveal much about relays.
