i bought one of these feb 2008 to use with a commell mobo and it still has the timing issue , sorted my ***

really annoyed 50 isnt that much but i could go buy a 550w psu for a home pc cheaper and it will work for years

600 i have spent in a month on parts for a car pc and now i need to buy another psu
dont think so ,out comes the soldering iron

the instructions still have no reference to them not working on these boards ,they also dont state thaat the psu start up connector neeeds to be tested to determine which is + and which -

he paid a whopping $11AU for all 200 of them. so unless you're in AU, it would cost more to ship 1 then it would cost to buy 200 of them yourself from a local source

he had to buy 200 of them because he wanted a surface mount version. you can go down to your local radio shack or other electronic parts store and buy a regular capacitor and use that instead. I would just buy a regular cap, bend the leads 90, carefully solder them to the board, then hot-glue it in place.

    good luck

Not sure if you're still looking, but www.newark.com sells these capacitors individually. Here is one example that sells for 3 cents each, but you can also just search for Ceramic Multi-Layer Capacitors, select 10nF, 0603 package (size), and pick one.

Newark is a great place for all sort of electronics parts, and they have no minimum order.
