Heres is my systems specs
Biostar TFroce6100 mb
AMD Sempron 2600+
1 stick of 512mb DDR
3.5" SATA drive
Would like to power a 7" lilliput screen off the PSU
also have GPS reciever and USB DVD rom
I ran the power calc and came up with 136 watts with CPU utilization at 65%. If the M2 isnt enough I may consider going to a Mobile Turion or Sempron processor.
Calculate the power on all three rails: 3.3v, 5v and 12v.
It should work without any issues, but you'll be pushing the 12v rail a bit, particularly with the 3.5" HDD.
Even witht he 3.5" HDD, it should work, but you're cutting the 12v power really thin... Too thin for my comfort level.
The mobile CPU would be a better option as far as power draw, IMHO.
The mobile would be a better option if you haven't yet bought anything. It is one thing to use heavy power parts when you have them spare, but if you are thinking of buying it, definately go mobile.
You will appreciate the descision later.

I already had the extra hard drive, and I got a good deal on the mb and cpu so I took it even though I new it would be close. I see Mobile Semprons on ebay go for $15 so I may just pop for one. Another question I have, while I have my setup just running in a desktop right now for testing, it seems to run fine with out the P4 connector connected, whats the deal with that?
