    Inverters & Shutdown Controllers

Ok so I've done a fair bit of reading over the last few days.

My plan is to butcher an old desktop I have lying around and make a custom enclosure under the rear seats. I'll be powering it all with an inverter.

So my question is, How does the shutdown controller work avaible in the shop? Well obviously I can see how it works but where do I wire it in? Can it be used in conjunction with an inverter?

So what Im really asking is where exactly in the wiring does the SDC sit?

    Thanks.

Most shutdown controllers with a relay will work in conjunction with an inverter. The wiring will be pulled from either your fuse panel, your main feed to your inverter, or some other 12V line (for the main feed), and if you need an ACC line you can also pull that from the fuse panel, radio harness, or another location where ACC power is present.
