Power Slim DVD Drive and LCD - 1 Molex?

Could I use one set of wires (12v, 5v, ground) from my power supply to power my LCD and my 5v slim DVD drive? If I use one of the molex connectors, (I know they have a 12v, ground, and a 5v), could I wire the 12v to my LCD (Xenarc 700TSV), and the 5v to my DVD drive, splicing the ground?

It seems that my M1-ATX should be able to handle all of this - according to a power calculator on mini-box.com.

    Thanks,
    Brett

That's what I've been doing. So far so good for about 3 months. I think this is an appropriate setup.

Yes you can do that without any problem (if you say the m1-atx can handle it).... also no ned to split the grd cus the molex have 2. (or if say you are splitting the grd cus your screen and dvd drive are close together that is fine also)

    Thanatos.
