    Question Powering a usb hub

    Hi.
I have hit the limit of usb devices now and I need to run a hub. Trouble is power. Should I just run a power inverter like this and plug the hub power into that or is there a better way?

EDIT: Ignore me, I clearly need to enhance my skills! I've found the best solution will be to chop off the ac/dc adapter plug and wire the hub to my existing carnetix power inverter

actually USB hubs are 5volt, not 12volt..... What you could do is run your hub via the 5v of your DC-PSU.
