actually USB hubs are 5volt, not 12volt..... What you could do is run your hub via the 5v of your DC-PSU.
Hi.
I have hit the limit of usb devices now and I need to run a hub. Trouble is power. Should I just run a power inverter like this and plug the hub power into that or is there a better way?
EDIT: Ignore me, I clearly need to enhance myskills! I've found the best solution will be to chop off the ac/dc adapter plug and wire the hub to my existing carnetix power inverter

So the cnx p1290 5v output would be the best option would it?
