    Will this work? DC-DC 12v input, 12v output 8 amps!

    Only problem is they are in South Africa.

    one of the problems i see is that the specs say that it requires a 14-36V input supply..

    /me think NULL is right....
    They carry 2 versions..
    one 12vdc input and the other 24vdc input.

    If you look in the table there's also a model that will do with the 12vdc input..

    If you then look a bit furter to the specs
    it says 8-16vdc input and I think this is for the 12vdc model
    the 14-36vdc input is used for the 24v model


    If this all is true, than this could be the thing we are looking for.. getting enough juice on the 12vdc rail.. we can use maxim parts for the other voltages... or something..

    Good find.. (if it is what we think it is !, someone please find out !)

    this thing looks great! although im doubtful many people will be interested as the price is likely to be quite high, and shipping from South Africa isnt wallet friendly either.

    Anyone had a contact with them for prices etc? Id like to know more never the less.
