Measure the voltage at VIN and ACC, make sure both are 12 volts.

Make sure you have a good ground.

Make Sure P2 is turned all the way counter clockwise (don't over turn).

Do you get an LED? Any blink codes?

I checked all the voltages, acc = 12v vin = 12v ground = good
no blink codes.
Just turned p2 all the way counter clockwise. Still nothing.

Can you think of anything you might of done to the the unit? Did you have stray wires floating around or anything? Can you take a picture of the setup? You have disconnected everything and let the unit completely power down right?

Do you have a volt meter? I can give you some probe points..

I removed the white molex connector and soldered the wires direct. That is the only change I made to the unit. The reason I did that is becuase the molex connectors were to big and wouldnt fit in my case as is.

I did use RTV to secure it to the computer case. Inbetween the psu and the case I but cardboard to prevent any shorting. That is what you see in the pic.

Yes the RTV was completely dry before I powered it up. I waited nearly 24hours.
Any ideas for me.

Probe points would be helpfull

Try probing Pin JP1 A1 See if there is 5 volts there when ACC and VIN have 12 volts on them.

Sounds like the microcontroller got fried somehow if you don't get the LED to turn on. Did anything short to J2 or JP1?
