Do you have the latest version? When I was testing it, when I send the wrong parameters to playfile it would crash.

i'm using belkin's gps software but i believe it should be very similar to routis and iguidance

I don't see why it wouldn't work with SP2. I'm using microsoft technology

I dunno... if its the same software with a different title then it will work, but I don't even see a screenshot of it.

I get a OLE error 8004503A when opening RoutisVoice and a "Cannot determine the device type from the given filename extension" when opening playfile

It worked on this computer, but my MIC refuses to work on this one, so I couldn't test it. Do you know what causes those errors?

The OLE error means you don't have SAPI installed. SAPI is the way the voice gets translated into commands.

The cannot determine the device type from the given filename extention means that you aren't giving playfile the right arguments.
program_params305=""C:\Documents and Settings\David Burban\Desktop\Untitled.mp3""
or
'"C:\Documents and Settings\David Burban\Desktop\Untitled.mp3'"
is the correct way to put in the parameters. Otherwise you'll get these errors and you will have playfile running in the background

I think you need to create a readme...

As for playfile running in the background, should it not exit on that error? Its a pain to ctrl + alt + del and kill 5 playfiles over dameware remote.

Will give this another shot tommorow,
what are the program param's for? just out of interest.

Yeh, a readme will be available once I'm done. I don't feel like rewwriteing it 10x.

I have added to make it terminate on no parameter. I will check to see if the file exists a bit later (hw)

Parameters are what make the program (playfile) play the file. They specify which file to play. If the file does not exist then it gives you errors.

I made a new playfile, this one will exit silently on all errors.
