Voice activated navigation for routis!

sweeet! I've got iguidance2.0. This will be great!!

Any recommendations on a good mic? That's not expensive.

So does RoutisVoice Launch RouterLauncher by Frodo? So we dont have to worry about the warning window?

Ive heard that iguidance2.0 is based on routis, certainly looks like like it. Will this work for it?

Never mind... answering my own question here. RoutisVoice will launch iGuidance 2 when you speak the "open navigation" command. I guess I was expecting it to launch Routis/iG when it started. Also, it DOES correctly click the [OK] button on the nag screen in iG. Sweet.

Already is for me! Actually, I could see taking this a lot further than just Routis/iG. All it does is listen for spoken commands then send corresponding keystrokes… I don’t think it would be too difficult to integrate this app into the entire system.

(don’t take my “all it does” comment the wrong way, I’m not downplaying this thing at all – I freak’n love this program)

No, but it achieves the same goal by simulating an [Enter] key press when the nag screen comes up.

Anybody have a suggestion for a microphone? Also, anyone using this with Routis/Iguidance embedded in Mediacar?

I'm also wondering what to use for a good mic. Suggestions users?

I use a bluetooth headset that way the mic is right on me. :) Jabra BT250 if you want the make/model.

But does the job perfect at up to 30 feet away with no wires to run and 8+ hours of battery life. It was well worth the money for me. Besides, I have a BT phone that I use it for too. ;)
