Yea, I know that but I'm thinking of using this for other programs as well (FP). If I want to search for a song I can just say "park" for Linkin Park or similar...
If you use a street that often, then why not just program it into the favorites? Its gonna even enter the adress and city for you! Look for "destination mark" in the XML file for an example, and for 1745 Bentley in the INI file. Just for an example edit that to your street. But if you want to do that for all programs, go to the places in XML file, and you can define your own custom commands (VK_LWIN,R,^) and names. I've also included some examples thereOriginally Posted by tbird2340
You would be able to do that if Frodo had the ability to search using just the keyboard. Now you still have to use your mouse to select if you're searching by genra, artist, or title. I bet he'll fix it in 1.09 So its not a limitation of NaviVoice, just a overlooked opportunity in FrodoOriginally Posted by tbird2340
No I forgot about that limitation. I'll see what I can do about it.Originally Posted by 0l33l

Cool! This should definatly leave the user happy. Just some tab keys would do fine for switching. Oh, and when the search screen pops up, that should be focused on the text box. Also would be nice to have the mini form have the same class name as the big form.Originally Posted by frodobaggins
Request 1) Echo not only the value in the NaviVoice window when it hears a command. So it will say not only '24' but '24 - Focus Routis' if that makes sense.
Request 2) Have an option to keep it minimized on the taskbar, not only as a icon by the clock.
[Routis '04] [Opus 90W] [160GB Maxtor HD]
[Lilliput 7" TS] [VIA M10000] [XMPCR]
[512MB RAM] [Custom housing]
[Deluo GPS Mouse] [E-MU 0404 Soundcard]
Progress Meter: [==============|] 99.9%
I'm confused a little... You say that would be possible if FrodoPlayer didn't have the pop up of Artist / Title / Album?Originally Posted by 0l33l
So example.. Let's just say in FP the search can come up by saying "F". Your saying that with your software I can say words (not letters) and it will recognize them and enter the entire word?
IE: Park, Diamond, Vanilla
to prevent looping why dont you have it ignore commands while saying voice confirmations
does 'mic off' or 'done' cause navivoice to stop recognizing commands or just to stop acting on commands
i think it stops acting on commands until mic on is heard and thats a good idea by the way
CarPC install is starting to come along again...
