Those are just differnet languages. You have to use MS agent for those.Originally Posted by GruvThang
ok but the voices are different too right?

Some of them. I'd recommend getting something like AT&T voices or NeoSpeech voicesOriginally Posted by GruvThang

$35.00 to change the voice? Umm, no, I will look for other alternatives when I get my computers moved into my new office!

Ok. As it turns out, Agent supports more voices, like there are 2 for each language, but they will sound really funny if told to speak english. MS agent is multilanguage, so that's why it shows more voices, but not a lot of them are useful for us; I mainly implemented this for the foreignersOriginally Posted by GruvThang

A great add on for Navivoice would be a help screen. What I mean is that, while I'm using it, I forget the voice commands that I've set up and some of the commands. It'd be nice to say "Boris, help" and have it display fullscreen either a formatted text file or even a jpg which I could layout to help me remember some commands. Kind of like the hide/show commands do. Getting fancier, it would be context sensitive so that there'd be different help screens if you were looking ag nav, player, menu, etc.
Well, you could put something to launch an app when you say "help". Make a command inbetween 300 and 399 to launch an app. Take that same number and follow the examples for programs in the INI file to launch your image file.Originally Posted by wysocki

This a little off topic, but does NaviVoice require mic-in to be selected as a recording device?
The reason for this question is, becasue I have a USB radio, and its connected to the line-in. In order for the radio to work, the line-in has to be selected as recording device (I am running Mediacar). I have the same problem with Phone Control.
If the answer is yes (as I suspect), can you make it so it switches the recording device back and forth when needed, or there is another solution I didn't think of?
