but I think this is a different one (it's not a USB one, but will it have noice cancelling?
I can't read that language, so I can't say if its noise-canceling But it doesn't look like the one we have here.

I tried a Labtec Verse 704 (USB) and just for the record it sucks. It looks like the Logitech but has a big PCB in the base (or do they all?) and you have to be like 5 inches from the mic.

Sorry to hear about your labtec. My non-usb logitech does not have a PCB because it doesn't need to do analog-to-digital conversions.

Right on the Logitech site pages mentioned above there's a link to "find a retailer". I found a bunch of them in the Netherlands at:

So are you saying the USB Logitech will have a PCB?

Yeh. The the USB logitech has a PCB somewere (I think the base). It has to do analog to digital conversion I don't like hogging up USB with something that would probably be better handled by the soundcard.

Was thinking of getting a directional mike and mounting it somewhere on the side of the headrest, as my Celica is pretty noisy even at cruise on the motorway.

Even with my Bluetooth headset on (as an option to use as a mic), people on the phone have trouble hearing me.
    4x4 in a turbo stylee.

Well, the bluetooth headset should work with NaviVoice But yeh, put some of that noise fighting stuff (forgot name, something like dynamat) under your carpet and into the doors. It should make the noise much more bearable. SAPI also is very good at fighting through the noise, so just try it out
