I called Neospeech directly to get to the bottom of this. They said that Neospeech voices are only SAPI 5 compliant which is not backward compatible with SAPI 4 and thus they are not available in MS Agent. Is MS Agent an obsolete protocol? If not why isn't brought up to compatibility with SAPI 5? I bought Neospeech because they are outstanding quality voices but now I can't use them in Navivoice? Why do they work with the voices that come from Frodoplayer?

Sorry that you bought the product and it isn't compatable with MS Agent. I thought that agent is newer than SAPI 5, well anyway, they should have put a note saying that it wouldn't work I think Frodo uses SAPI 5, and not MS agent.

Ok. Try to set the voice to neospeech in your control panel and get v.9 of NaviVoice. That version should use neospeech... try it and report back

I'll give it a try in the morning, but I'm wondering what I'll be missing without the "Frodoplayer compatibility" announced in 1.1??? What does this mean exactly?

Basically I want you to try v.9 and set the speech in the control panel to neospeech. that way I'll be able to see if that solves your problems If it works then I'm gonna re-introduce the code back into NaviVoice.

And .9 does not have true frodo support... I just need you to test if it works with neospeech.

I installed V.6 then added the files from V.9 and it played the SAPI 5 Neospeech voices that I had set up in the control panel. Why is Agent not updated to handle SAPI 5? Anyway, it'd great if Navivoice handled both.

    Thanks again!
The numbers are basically random ones that I added as I progressed through the code. So that' why you'll find numbers scattered in random places. I did try to organize them in the XML file based on their category. So find the number of the command you want and you can add voice-confirmation in the INI file.

I'll be releasing a new version with SAPI5 support during thanksgiving break.
