You need a computer that will be able to tolerate voice recognition and synthesis. I would't go anything below a 800hmz PIII, or a 1.2ghz EPIA since they aren't that up there in performace, so that should be equivalent. But it should work *ok* on a lesser system. You also need a noise-canceling microphone, I use a logitech non-usb mic. If you have bluetooth then you may want to get a headset.

Since you mentioned that it works with copilot then it should work with NaviVoice, just make sure to delete the lines that are the same between copilot and navivoice (in the XML file). BTW: What are the voice commands for copilot?

I didn't mention that it works with co pilot, what I meant was that I use co pilot as my GPS software and just wanted to know if I could still use navi voice. Do you still want to know what are the accepted voice commands?

Oh, I though you said that copilor accepts your voice commands, so I assumed that your computer is powerful enough to recognize your voice. But still you can try it out. And yes, you could still use NaviVoice if you delete certain parts of the XML file (dealing with navigation).

And the command list for copilot would be cool

Hi. Based on the GPS Passion.com ratings, IntelliNav and CoPilot v6 appear to be highly rated.

How well does NaviVoice work for pocket pc gps applications?

Would NaviVoice disable the CoPilot voice prompts?

Given any questions about NaviVoice support for CoPilot, would IntelliNav be the better alternative?

PS. As I have stated elsewhere, I have doubts whether the Garmin iQue M3 Pocket PC (http://store.yahoo.com/semsons-inc/gaiqm3popcwi.html) will work with NaviVoice.

It looks great with the intergrated GPS reciver, but looks aren't everything.

I'm willing to trade off on form for function-- and ease of input, and so I'm gravitating towards Co-Pilot and IntelliNav.

It's an easy choice given the fact that the GPS Passion.com ratings rate CoPilot "Best Long Distance" and IntelliNav as "Best Overall" GPS respectively. Thank you for referring me to the GPSpassion.com website. I look forward to hearing from you.

PPS. Are you the guy that wrote NaviVoice?

Yes, I'm the guy who wrote NaviVoice. NaviVoice does not support PPC hardware. Sorry.
