    Lightbulb Config App

    <Mission_Statement>
    Well, for those of you lucky enough to have SAPI5 voices I've been working on an app that will use your voices and output it for use with iGudiance/Routis. No more having 2 types of voices on the computer I'm done with the main part, but I want it to be user configurable.

    Major thanks to Frodo for helping me with the code
    </Mission_Statement>

    What does this app do?
    • Set SAPI or Agent
    • Export voice to Routis/iGuidance!!
    • Gamma Settings Build In (You still need to configure the actual gamma values)
    • Some NaviVoice settings
    • Add/Edit Favorites
    • Add/Edit Places

    For the last two, you still need to edit the XML file. Also on those two: read some of the hints

    How to export to your nav program.
    1. Select SAPI5
    2. Click on Engine
    3. Click on Test Voice
    4. Click on Engine
    5. Copy [NAV_VOICES] section from the inlcuded INI file to your own
    6. Press Navigation Voices
    7. Press Set Voices pg.<your number>
    8. Edit until you like the voice
    9. Press Save (if you don't and go to the next section then it gets reverted to the setting in the INI)
    10. Go through all of them and don't forget to save, and you should end up with WAV files of your favorite SAPI voice for your Nav program

    New version: fixed that weird bug were the voice changed after save

    Download v1

    I can't wait. It will be like only having one other person in the car with you, instead of two or three!

    Yeh. Here's a test app. It only works with SAPI5. Click on SAPI, select the voice, and click on save for routis/igudiance. Then backup the files in the snd folder of routis/igudiance and overwright them with the ones in the directory were you ran the config app. This is just a tease, so the values are all hardcoded, but you get the idea

    Good idea, although actually the female in Routis is pretty good sounding. Except she pronounces 'th' as 's'. She tells me to "turn, souse"! Even when I haven't been drinking.

    So, does v1.2.7 fix the embedded bug?

    How the new config version is going to look like . Most of the buttons on the other form are non-functional because they are only supported in SAPI4
