When the speaker starts speaking 8 seconds for the first time. Then its normal.

I hope I get an email back from a tester :)

When I try and open mine, nothing happens, the config or the app, any clues?

Make sure that you don't have any other instances of navivoice running. If you do, then it won't. One instance only :cool:

Nothing else was running, even rebooted to be sure.
I get no error messages or anything, just click it and nothing happens.

Buying a mic this evening to test this shiznit out! Have a 10 hour drive coming up and need all the gizmos and cool crap I can find to keep me awake!

Is just a normal computer mic ok to use?

A normal computer mic (those cheap $5 ones) won't work. You'd need a noise-canceling mic like the logitech (you you can use a BT headset).

I am using my normal dell computer mic with no problems at the moment, I have a Jabra BT200 if a problem comes up, but so far it works perfectly:)
