    I'm trying to get my hands on the Nokia HFM-8. I can't find it locally. A friend of mine has it working great in his car. It's made for the hands free kit, but it can be used with a computer--plus it looks factory. Here's a pic: linky

    Doesn't look stock to me. The best place for a MIC is closest to your mouth.

    the nokia one looks like the mic Chevy uses for their on-star system....

    What about using a Bluetoth headset with a bluetooth usb dongle for voice capabilities.

    Like you have to configure it every tiime that you start windows. But this may have been resolved, because it depends on the hardware that you are using.

    With BT you can set profiles once the device is recognized within XP though.... any link in here with those having trouble?
