ive got a few of those lying around (we install\upgrade a lot of car kits at work) i was just gonna post asking if anyone was using one for this and well it works? cause the work pretty well for the hands free kit even with the windows down u dont hear much noise through em

LOL just did. i tested it inside in a quiet place and it worked great. you gotta cut the plug off and put a standard 3.5 mm plug on. ill test it in car over the week and let everyone know how it goes

Just did some froogle'in and came accross this... has anyone used something of the sort? I think it would look pretty stock in my car

its slightly cheaper than the logitech one (if you buy it at best buy that is)and it seems to have the same functionality, noise cancelling, mute button, etc.

I ended butchering up mine to "stealth" it onto my
A-pillar, its mostly all plastic just the top part has the actual mic and a very smal pcb for the mute switch.

WOW. I didnt know that logitech noise cancelling microphone worked so well. Just did a real simple test, had loud music playing in the backround and used my windows sound recorder to start recording. I started singing with the music for 10 seconds.

Stopped and played it back. Was amazed to only hear my voice, i didnt even hear a hint of the music in the backround...amazin.
