Sweet! Can you do the same thing, but also cover up the vents on the back?Originally Posted by nappyjim

Huh? How the hell do you hear everything from the mic in the speakers?? That's not right.Originally Posted by Zebelkhan
BTW: Not that hard to make a mute button. Just cut one of the wires.
Air from upper vents hits the microphone (which also has a vent in its housing in the back) and creates a grawling sound (loud base) which can be heard through the speakers! I can minimize the sound by lowering the fan speed or turning the volume down to make it workable. I might have to mute something in the speech/sound of XP but have not figured it out yet.Originally Posted by 0l33l

What sound card are you using? Because that's definately not right!
Using onboard sound on mini itx (EPIA-V), running xp.Originally Posted by 0l33l

GEt the latest drivers and check the settings. It sounds like you've got passthrough or something going onOriginally Posted by Zebelkhan

I think Zebelkhan needs to disable the mic for playback in the sounds control panel.
I bet you that is what it is because I have the mic on everywhere! Thanks..Originally Posted by rando
Edit: That was the problem. Thanks rando
