    Question How to set up for Map Monkey

    I must first start off by saying how impressed I am with this interface using frodo.
    I used voice recognition many moons ago and to be honest it wasnt that good at all, so it was something of a suprise to see how responsive it is.
    Anyway what im having trouble with doing is setting navivoice with map monkey.
    in the HTM the following statement is included:

    "What is dest_port=9913?

    This is for Destinator3. You have to set this to the same port as Destinator, and also enable the Winsock port in Destinator."

    Is destinators port always 9913? if not how do I find this? And also where do I find the Winsock Port?
    When these items are configured should Mapmonkey work OK?

    Not knowing much about creating commands does anyone know if it can be configured to use Phone Control?

    Any help will be greatfully received.

    P.S. what INI files do I need to configure new comands? the only INI files where in the download where gammacontrol & navivoice.

    What you found out is the archaic way of connecting to MM. The option still exists to configure the port, but there is nothing left that can access it I'm not gonna have that option in the next version.

    You need to enable plugins in MM.

    If you want phone control support, then send me a GSM phone. i'm currently stuck with sprint till the summer

    The voice commands are in the XML file. The voice response is in the navivoice.ini file. Gammacontrol is the gamma file

    Thanks for the responce but im still a little lost with setting up new commands.
    Below is the contents of the navivoice ini file:

    [settings]
    VoiceNumberDefault=7
    VoiceNumberMale=0
    Engine=AGENT
    VoiceNumberFemale=7
    WAV_FORMAT=0
    ShowOnLoad=0
    MinimizeToTray=0
    ShowBalloon=0
    PauseWhenTalk=0
    dest_port=9913
    Cd_Drive=D
    interval=10000
    commport=1
    listening=0
    Voice=1

    What i dont understand is that in the HTM file you talk about opening the INI file and then "go to programs place". From above you can see there is no content for programs place! What do I need to do??????

    Use the Macros functions. Load up phonecontrol, then give navivoice its class name, and then figure out how you want it to be clicked.

    Unless you want me to code in phonecontrol support, but I'd need a GSM phone because PhoCo starts *****ing if I don't have anything

    Wo slow down down, macros! class names!! your talking to a nooooooob
    can you please elaberate or do a step by step guide? Or possibly a link to try to understand a little more how to set it up. I have read the htm but i do not understand how to obtain the key commands to input them into the xml and ini files. From looking at the other threads it seems u need something called an API spy? I have tried downloading a few but cant seem to get them working!
    Any reccomendations?

    Cheers

    P.S. Cant really help you out with a new phone? Sorry

    API Spy is attached. Enter the window class into something like program_title406=

    There are a few examples of Macros already in the INI file, like the program_close ones.

    No whone, no phoneco support
