I did a search, and checked the obvious forums, I don't see a sticky about mics. Can you link it here?
Thanks,

What micrphones are you guys using with this?
0l33l - help me out on this one. I've got one of those Logitech USB Noise-cancelling mics. For some reason, the mic won't work with Navivoice, unless I go into the "Speech" settings in the Control Panel. As soon as I get in there, you could see the microphone meter on the bottom working as I talk and Navivoice recognizes my commands.
If I don't go into the Speech settings, NaviVoice won't respond to my commands. It's almost as if the mic is asleep until I go into those settings.
Please help - thanks!
Weird. Maybe you're not applying the settings or somethingOriginally Posted by hd54321
NaviVoice doesn't change any of the speech settings, instead it utilizes them.
Hey 0l33l,
I've been using your program for about a week now, trying my best work it out.
Here's what I'm having a problem with:
I'm trying to get NaviVoice to be able to Open and Close Winamp. Getting it to open the program was the easy part, here's how:
XML:

open media player

close media player

INI:
program_name406=C:\Program Files\Winamp\winamp.exe
program_title406=Winamp v1.x
program_close406=VK_MENU,F,^,X,^
Now, the weird problem I'm having is with closing Winamp. First off, when I'm focused on the program, and I hit 'Alt+F, X' it closes the program. But when I'm telling NaviVoice that I want to "close media player," it cheerfully replies that it's closing, and that's about as far as it goes.
The funny thing is, if I don't have Notepad open and I'm telling NaviVoice to "close notepad" (even if my focus is not on Winamp), Winamp closes fine. Logically, if I do have Notepad and Winamp open and I say "close notepad" twice, it would first close Notepad, and Winamp second. I want to know WHY?
I've reread your manual [] a couple of times. In the 'Opening Up Programs' section you explicitly says "#9: Enter in program_title<value>=<program’s class name (look it up in the spy software included> This has to be for all the values except for minimize."
Well, the class for Winamp is "Winamp v1.x", but I've noticed that even though the class for Notepad.exe is "edit", you're still referring to it as "notepad" in your program ("program_title454=notepad"). Why?
Last question, are you Russian? Why?![]()
Hmm.... from waht I can see... you made your program close be for 406 and not for 407. I'd also copy the title and make it a 407
I'm not Russian. Russia is evil
I'm originally from Ukraine.
