I am planning on using NaviVoice for an automation system throughout my apartment when time allows where I am going to put a microphone system as well as a speaker system in every room so whereever I am I can ask the computer to do anything. I am going to program it so many commands will work so someone who just walks in can know what to do. Basically if they ask "what time is it?" or "what is the current time?" it will give them the same response. Same with "play" or "play song" etc. that's going to be a while, but it would still be pretty cool, no?

I think that this is feasable. I will just have to rewrite the way NaviVoice handles commands. But that won't be a problem because I'm rewriting it

BTW: You'll love the new things I'm thinking off. So say you want to set your iGuidance speed at 75.. right? But it takes a while to do that. So I'll have an option to automatically listen for numbers after ceratin commands. So hopefully you'll be able to say "set speed at 75". If that doesn't work, then you'll be able to say "set speed at" and then "75" instead of having to say "7" and then "5".

Yeh, I still have to start writing it. And I can't do that until I get some XML code. I also have some other projects that I'm working on, including taking parts out of NaviVoice (like the text-to-speech part), which will be released for FrodoComm.
