Using a button to activate navivoice instead of keyword

I want to install a button in my car that I can press to put navivoice in listening mode instead of having to say Boris . The button will also turn down the music so that it doesn't interfere with the command. Is this possible?

Yes. NaviVoice has a command line paramater that will act instead of saying Boris. Make a program that accepts the button, and turns down the volume, and passes this command to NV

Did you ever get this working? What did you end up doing? I am very interested in this and would like to implement it myself.

    Thanks
