it would be cool to have some kind of a control interface for car.
for example.
i set up the car pc.
and have my car stereo system set up.
wheres the interlink between those two? theres none at the moment.
an indash unit that has: volume control(knob, not buttons), display for songs, and a 6 channel preamp outputs, or/and some form of digital output if there ever will be more than a few amps with digital input.
theres a single din opening in a del sol and im not planning to chop it up in order to put a full size screen in it
would like to have something to control the music with you kno.
or even an option for internal DAC unit would be cool.
a single din monitor would be cool as well.
as long as its not the tiny one, there are many cars that utilize the full height of single din opening( honda radios), pioneer single din radios also have taller faceplate.
Gently...ever so gently.
This post is about 2 1/2 years old. mp3Car doesn't design/create new devices, they re-sell devices made by other companies. In this case, they were probably looking for a nice single DIN touchscreen monitor.
Probably a good idea to always check the date when replying to a post.
Cheers!

word:)
since the original post heather left, and most around here have mostly come to grips with the fact that there will probably never be a reliable 1-din TS monitor... though there are plenty of non-reliable solutions, but it kind of makes it tough for a company to make a profit off a product that constantly fails...
well then maybe this is for whoever makes the monitors for mp3 car then:)
theres really not that many single din cars today. or a din standard in general. there are allover the dash these days
but for older cars that are still popular it would be nice.
i agree-- i have the perfect spot at the top of my dash for a single din transflective screen, but if i am going to have to take it out every couple of months to get it repaired, it is a luxury i can live without..
Matrix Orbital has a nice selection of LCD's that would fit in a single din
yes, but wouldn't it be more fun to fit a motorized 7" up there?
