The city-name is already being queried for in the plugin settings.
I think that should be a fairly easy task. I'll include it in the next
update coming this weekend. I'm also trying to include a weather
details page, but I'm not sure if it will be included in the upcoming
    build due to testing.

As for the 800x600 skin, we still need to finish it. I can't tell when
it will be available. Due to our test-rig, we're somewhat limited to
848x480 as the native resolution. CarMa does support higher resolutions
already, but we don't have a finished skin for it yet, unfortunately.

I've uploaded a new build. Again, lots of fixes..

Most important change is related to the location of the config and data files.
It has been changed one last time, it now uses the user-profile folder.
A bit more difficult to find, but this should solve the permissions issues.

The next build will include support for XM devices!

    Enjoy!

Sorry for the waiting. I had some urgent tasks to complete.
But.. I'm about to pick up development again in a few days.

    To answer your question:
I've used PowerStrip to reconfigure the native resolution,
but you should be sure you're screen can handle it.
If you're testing it on your desktop, I'd recommend to
unhide the mousecursor and leave it windowed.

The current skin has been designed for 848x480 resolutions.
Because, at that time, most touchscreens (at least those
I was aware of) operated at this resolution natively.
I'm aware of other resolutions and requests for them,
but at the moment, I don't have enough time to convert
or redesign it for alternative resolutions. Still need to
complete some core components, fix bugs and finish plugins
(currently working on XM radio capabilities!).

    Hopefully this answers your question.

    Enjoy!

Ok I got it to get the right resolution it was actually a problem with my screen for some reason when its set to the HDMI source it cuts off a little of the scree on all sides but if I use DVI (with the HDMI only plugged in) it displays right.

On a more important note, maybe I missed something and you changed it but I remembered when I was playing with this before the bar with the buttons was scrollable, right now all i see is this and cant scroll it, maybe that feature was removed but I cant seem to get to the video function or any other besides those six

    Actually, there is!

I just released a new update last night (about 12hrs ago).
I was currently in the process of updating the forums and websites

This version includes - again - a lot of improvements (mostly under the hood or framework related),
but most important in this update: an experimental XM Radio plugin is included!

I don't expect it to work just yet, I don't have the required hardware to test on.
So I'm completely depending on your feedback. (especially the logfiles)

I had some urgent tasks last few weeks, I still do, but they're almost finished.
This lasted longer than I expected, but now I'm able to focus more on CM.

    Enjoy this update!

Ah, great you worked it out.. Weird though, I thought HDMI should deliver the same videosignal as DVI.
At least it's displaying correctly now.

About the menubar, that's correct. The (scrolling menu) control used in earlier version is still included
and currently only available to skinners and modders. It has been replaced by a static menubar in the
current version. In our own road-tests, we had trouble using the scrolling menu on bumpy roads.

Video is coming soon! It was planned to be released with this version.
But the XM plugin got in between. When the XM plugin is finished,
I'll finish the video plugin (at last).

    Thanks for testing and commenting!

    I've uploaded a minor update.
The serial-port detection was borked, but should be fixed now.

If you're downloading to try the XM Radio plugin, please let me
know your experiences, as we don't have the hardware available
    here.

    Enjoy!
