Yep, it should work. I am using the AT&T voices right now, and damn, do they sound goodOriginally Posted by wysocki

Ah! I had copied the invisible one to my test machine but not to my car! I'd like to find a replacement for the voice and have found Neospeech at http://www.zabaware.com/reader/voices.html which sounds incredibly good. Will this work with Navivoice and Frodoplayer under Win2k?

I think NaviVoice v1.1 still shows a message with all the values for GammaControl. Forgot to get rid of this. Shold be fixed in the next release.
Now that I've ordered Neospeech to take advantage of the new Navivoice speech processing, what about the voices generated within FP? As each mp3 plays, the old voice is still stuttering and it will really sound lame compared to the new responses from NaviVoice.

BTW: So, NaviVoice doesn't stutter anymore? cool

I'll let you know more definitively when I get the new voices, but it's better than it was. There's only a slight distortion of the speech when it plays over a song for example. BTW, is there any way to trigger a change between voices (male/female)?

Motoko pointed out a bug with the date reading... should be fixed in v1.2![]()
When I'm in the routis/nav screen in FP and have the mp3 paused, a voice command like "zoom in" or "zoom out" un-pauses the music.
I can't seem to replicate thisOriginally Posted by wysocki
I launched iG and paused an mp3 (using both voice and button) and when I said zoom in nothing happened except the map zoomed in. Look in the engine log.... check if it recognized two commands.
