Rikk: you won't be able to have two navigation apps because you cannot have the same commands listed twice

To change the full screen command: delete that command. Then add fullscreen to places and make the key be "VK_F11". That should do it. To focus on an app add its window class to the INI file under program_title.

Why not track app focus and allow different command sets per app? Then you can re-use commands.

You can re-use the commands on the app that has focus. Except for Frodo and Routis/iGudiance, those commands only work with those programs.

First: what navigation apps is he talking about? Well, iGuidance and Routis are basically the same. So I'm guessing Ninja Monkey's d3 and some of the aforementioned apps

I thought that he would have two commands that are the same but are meant for different programs. That cannot happen because if the two commands are the same then SAPI will give an error

One is Navigator 4, this is only temp as I intend to get Copilot 8 when it's released in the UK in a month or two.
The other is called memorymap and is designed to display ordinance servey maps which I use for offroad driving of green lanes and byways.

There are very few commands I actually need, these being.

In Navigator
Fullscreen - F11 (this is a toggle into and out of FS)
GPS - To start the gps tracking

In MM
Zoom in - already covered by saying "plus"
Zoom out - same, just use "dash"
Lock - locks map to gps track

Apart from focus switching and frodo control thats all I need, a man of simple needs

Oh yes, I can't seem to find anything to tell me what the name of the app window is, saw mention of apispy but can only find one dload location and it's not on that site. Anything else I can use to find this info??

As long as the programs take keyboard input you should be fine. For people like you, I've created MACROS. Read up on them in the HTML file. Basically you will need to delete the "full screen" command and put "fullscreen" somewere in the places. Then add macro to the places.

As far as the focus: get a window spy. Then grab the CLASS and put that into the INI.

I've been beating my head against a wall for an hour now trying to work out what to do and failing miserably.

Could you just show me one step by step example of how I would change the fullscreen command to issue an F11 please.

I think it's one of those things that once you've done once it's obvious, but trying to work it out to begin with sure isn't

Add "VK_F11" for your places. Make sure to delete the old fullscreen command. Basically add fullscreen to your XML under the places, and remember the number. Then put VK_F11 into your places in the config program under the number that you still remember.
