Thread: Using NaviVoice to switch embedded GPS

It' s currently installed on my desktop, i don't find any reason to use it in the car yet, as i am using frodoplayer and mapmonkey. none of them can talk to lcdc.

MM will be able to talk to LCDC soon

The plugin will be done in a few weeks though. Can't do programming because of SATs

I'll just use Ninja Monkey's dll to grab all the info

ARGH.. If only i knew how to do that.. i would certainly read information from too many dlls...

Sounds interesting, I can't wait to see how people have it installed, and how people are using it for output. I think it would be nice for the arrows on the device to be able to scroll through different types of output... Like, display speedometer/tachometer on one page, display routes on another, etc.

Now if only someone could make a generic single DIN mount for it :|

It already switches between different information using the arrows, as well as volume or quick switch.. or keep the current view/ it normally switches to the next screen automatically, all configurable.

Its ok.. you can talk about it. I'm the NaviVoice mod, and I like matrix orbital

And yeh, LCDC automatically switches screens.

i've tried mm by the way i don't like it as much as frodo player. my wish is to have destinator/mapmonkey talk to lcdc, it's my priority.
