    Hmm,
Never saw this error. Can you see it on all your files ? I doubt that mp3 file has mpeg info in it. It may be some other format though. If you can give me 1 meg of that file for my testing, it would help.

To run pycar you don't need any of those you installed. Just take everything from the zip file and unpack it to the directory you want.
You should have directory i18n/English/LC_MESSAGES in the installation dir. This error appears only when you don't have i18 dir in your installation.

You're starting it from the command line. Type c:\pycar\pycar.exe to start it, you need to specify the full path or it doesn't get it's path info right.

It happens with every mp3 file I try to open. Here's another traceback with a bit more info in it.

Error: Codec with id 0 cannot be found. libavformat is out of sync with libavcodec.
See PM for an example file.

EDIT: I figured it out. If you have album art embedded into the mp3 file, the program crashes. It plays mp3's fine if there is no cover art embedded. Check your PM for examples.

Oh that's may be a problem too. Thanks. You can run it from the command line with something like:
    c:\pycar> "pycar.py ."

hello everyone, I'm pretty new about media station softwares, I'm looking for for a good set tob box sw and it seems very pretty
well, it starts, I can browse mp3 or video folders, but as soon as I select a file, I got an application crash, a stupid memory error like "memory can't be Written" or similar
and, I dont' know if it's ok but I can use only video and audio plauer, if I press Settings, XM or FM radio buttons I got no response at all
    any ideas?

Just give me more details about your hardware, software and stuff. If you can, please post the tracelog from the command prompt.
This is not a release yet. I made a prerelease for this exact reason, to find bugs. Release will include FM and may be XM( with recording ), so don't worry about them for now.
