Ah, Mandriva names libraries differently than ubuntu, so it's not loading the WindowManager properly in the GUI Thread. I'll fix that and post an update within the hour.
Edit: Upon checking, it seems I was wrong, the library names are the same. I'll look into it and let you know.

That's a good question. I am opening the qt4 src.rpm to see what happened to the includes. Hmm, for some reason unknown to me, use of local qt4 phonon headers are disabled by default. I am building a package locally with it enabled to test. I will ask some kde guy tomorrow to known why it is disabled.

Alright, I got Qt and RevFE compiled. It runs perfectly fine, I don't see the issue you are having :/
One thing I did notice, launching RevFE with the display command (Using DISPLAY=:0 as that's the only screen I had) caused some weird issues with stdio, but nothing compared to what you're experiencing. Why are you using that? You're running this application locally correct?
